ETC offers Aruba 'European solution'

To further expand travel agents' knowledge about Aruba throughout Europe, the Aruba Tourism Authority (ATA) has chosen a branded e-learning platform based on learning technology from The eTraining Company. Portals are available in four languages for travel agents and tour operators in the Netherlands, Germany, Italy, and the United Kingdom. Each language offers an informative e-learning module covering Aruba's complete tourism offerings.

International examples

Already in 2023 Aruba decided to incorporate a dedicated e-learning portal into its marketing mix for the first time. Knowledge expansion is essential for the island. The tourism board has been using the international ETC e-learning license for over two years now, building a solid database of experts.

Valuable knowledge certificate

One Happy Island: pearly white sandy beaches, azure sea, year-round sunshine, and friendly locals. The module covers Oranjestad, the idyllic Palm and Eagle Beaches, and Arikok National Park, among other destinations. During the training, travel agents are actively engaged with the module through interactive practice questions. And with a final exam, they can test their knowledge. Every agent who achieves a passing score receives a valuable knowledge certificate and also has a chance to participate in the annual study trips organized by the Aruba Tourism Authority.
